The influence of natural structures on modern architecture has encouraged me to research into natural objects such as coral, shells and wildlife: it is this Bio mimicry in design that has provided a breadth of design possibilities for my woven textile collections.

A recent trip to New York has enforced these earlier explorations as I have continued to develop the connection between the layers and shapes of the New York architecture and the natural environment; utilising strong colour and geometric pattern in the productions of woven collections for both the interiors and menswear market.
